Consumer goods are all items classified as dangerous goods falling into the following categories: class 2 – gases (non-toxic aerosols only), class 3 – flammable liquids (perfume, paints, nail polishes, nail polish removers, etc.), subclass 6.1 – low-toxic substances (e-cigarette liquids etc.), as well as substances that are potentially environmentally threatening. All consumer goods require product characteristic cards to be presented by the sender and preparation for transportation in accordance with IATA DGR Y963 guidelines. At least two completed copies of the Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods are required.
